School of Social Work Part-time Lecturer Pool San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The School of Social Work seeks applicants for its part-time lecturer pool to teach bachelor’s and master’s level classes in micro practice, macro practice, human behavior in the social environment, research methods, and practicum seminar at our San Bernardino and Palm Desert Campus locations. Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in social work from a CSWE accredited program or a doctoral degree in social work, two years’ post master’s work experience, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and experience working with diverse populations and community partners. Preferred qualifications vary depending on the type of course assigned and may include: a PhD (research methods) or an LCSW (micro practice/practicum seminar, and 5 years’ experience in clinical social work (micro practice/practicum seminar). This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary and all appointments are temporary. Staffing decisions are made on a rolling basis typically beginning a few months prior to the start of an academic term right up to the beginning of the academic term. We recommend submitting your application at least 4 months before the beginning of an academic term to be considered for available positions.

Assistant Professor of Animation - Department of Art and Design #25-38 Northridge
California State University, Northridge (CSUN) is seeking a tenure track Assistant Professor in the Animation and Game Area. The candidate will teach undergraduate Animation and Game Design courses and integrate animation techniques with new technologies. They should stay updated with technology, develop their skills, and maintain a strong creative practice. We seek a candidate with experience promoting equity and inclusion and strong 3D software skills in programs like Maya, Unreal, and/or Unity. Responsibilities include teaching, mentoring students, attending meetings, assessing students, serving the department, and developing the animation program.  Experience with real-time rendering applications and procedural node-based workflows is preferred.
