| Under general supervision, the Software Developer designs, develops, tests, implements, and maintains enterprise software applications and systems supporting university advancement, alumni engagement, fundraising, and related administrative operations.
The incumbent will primarily support Chico State’s Advancement CRM ecosystem, including Ellucian Banner Advancement, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT (RENXT), and integrated third-party systems used for reporting, analytics, automation, and business operations. The role provides technical leadership during the migration from Banner Advancement to RENXT while supporting long-term system modernization, integration, and ongoing operations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading technical data migration efforts from Banner Advancement to RENXT;
• Designing and maintaining integrations between CRM platforms and enterprise systems, including ERP/financial systems, student information systems, identity and access management, Salesforce CRM, data warehouses, and reporting platforms;
• Developing reports, dashboards, automation workflows, and data governance processes;
• Ensuring system security, regulatory compliance, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards; and
• Providing technical consultation and guidance to stakeholders and leadership.
The Software Developer works independently on daily assignments and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable technology solutions.
