Duties include hanging paper; mixing and matching paints; sand and water blasting; erecting scaffolding or rigging; painting signs and roadway markings; selecting and storing materials; inspecting work for code compliance; reviewing contractor work; estimating project costs and timelines; maintaining paint shop operations; cleaning tools and equipment; following safety procedures; maintaining a safe workspace; and using manual or computerized systems to track work and prepare reports. |
