Position Summary
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Enrollment and Marketing, the Enrollment Coordinator works with a high level of independence and has responsibility for performing the day-to-day operations for enrollment for the College of Continuing Education (CCE) for academic credit, non-credit, certificates, and conference registration. This includes the entire life cycle for each program/unit assignment. These duties include creating the class schedule, registrations, collection of fees, generation of class or grade roasters and payment options. Responsible for drafting and composing correspondence for each program assignment. The Enrollment Coordinator will securely store documents in the secure electronic vault and follow data retention policies.
This work requires extensive knowledge of policies, processes, and systems and requires regular communication with other offices on campus such as the Registrar's Office, Financial Aid, Admissions, Graduate Studies and Bursar's Office. The Enrollment Coordinator must have the ability to exercise sound judgement and make independent decisions. The Enrollment Coordinator works with the Associate Director to ensure compliance with Sacramento State and Cal State University (CSU) policies and must be able to represent the college.
The Enrollment Coordinator is also responsible for confidential information in regards to student financials associated with billings, invoices, payment arrangements, scholarships, and refunds. The incumbent works with students, adult learners, various state agencies, foreign governments and local businesses for billings. The Enrollment Coordinator must uphold, implement, communicate and enforce federal, state, CSU system, and university policies and regulations.
FLSA: Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime compensation)
Anticipated Hiring Range: $ 4,058.00 per month - $ 4,706 per month commensurate with candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities.
CSU Classification Salary Range: $ 4,058.00 per month - $ 6,653.00 per month

Work Hours: Work hours are established within CCE's operating hours of Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
The College of Continuing Education (CCE) extends the mission of the university by increasing access for non-traditional learners. With a primary expertise on serving adult learners, CCE provides programs and services to individuals and employers year-round, unbound by traditional semester schedules and formats. CCE serves a hybrid student body that extends beyond California, serving over 80,000 learners annually through in-person, hybrid and fully online workshops, courses, conferences, certificate and degree programs.

Entry to this classification requires a fully functional knowledge of and skill in standard office procedures and practices, as well as an ability to understand and operate in a variety of organizational structures. Additionally, incumbents are expected to have a thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and be able to clearly communicate orally and in writing. Some positions may require a knowledge of business mathematics beyond basic arithmetic. The ability to use and quickly learn new office support technology systems and software packages is also a prerequisite.
These entry qualifications would normally be obtained through a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with several years of related office work experience.
