Compensation and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $13,333 - $15,416 per month
Full CSU Classification Salary Range: $6,891 - $22,119 per month
Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on the strength of qualifications. This is a CSU Management Personnel Plan (MPP) position.
The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Job Summary
The position of the Associate Dean, College of Health & Human Services is a full-time, 12-month, administrator appointment. The appointee will retain his/her/their faculty rank of professor and right of retreat to his/her/their former position. Serving as a key member of the College’s leadership team, the Associate Dean is expected to work with a high degree of autonomy to promote the College’s mission of education, outreach, and service, and to carry out agreed upon duties. The Associate Dean is the principal advisor to the Dean on College matters. The position discharges a sundry of administrator level job duties and responsibilities associated with the overall management of the College as designed by the Dean. This may include, but may not be limited to, academic program analysis, resource development, curriculum development, and university-wide academic affairs.

Education and Experience
- An earned Ph.D. or terminal degree from an accredited institution in a field appropriate to one of the Departments/programs in the College of Health and Human Services
- Rank of tenured, full professor
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level
- Experience as department chair or comparable leadership experience (institute director, program director, etc.)
