Job Summary
Under general supervision, this position develops, improves, and supports the Cal Poly enterprise web program. This position will also be responsible for creation, execution, and oversight of portions of vendor contracts and relationships.
Under the general direction, this position provides leadership and project management for the technical aspects of Cal Poly’s IT infrastructure capital construction projects. This position plays a key role in the successful planning, tracking, and implementation of the technical aspects of these projects. They are primarily responsible for meeting with both internal and external teams, advising on technical impact, managing vendors, communicating to customers about technical projects, and communicating with ITS about overall project information.

Department Summary
Information Technology Services (ITS) is a fast-moving team that is responsible for helping Cal Poly achieve academic excellence through developing and implementing learning, teaching, and administrative solutions which leverage technology that align with strategic goals and objectives. Key Qualifications
- Manages overall performance of information technology projects; ensuring
milestones and deliverables are met through scoping, managing dependencies, critical path, resources, risks and decisions.
- Prepares, coordinates and leads Waterfall and Agile project meetings and activities such as: project charters, timelines, work breakdown, sprint planning, workshops, daily standups, and post project lesson learned meetings.
- Collaborates with IT and Facilities teams on major and minor capital projects with a focus on strategy, vendor management, technology standards, and budget management to ensure successful project delivery.

- Understands and communicates impact of construction decisions to campus constituents, ITS leadership, and impacted ITS teams.
- Collaborates with ITS and Campus partners to develop infrastructure roadmaps and related technology lifecycles.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience.
- Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for up to two years of required education on a year-for-year basis.

Salary and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Range: $100,000 - $120,000 Per Year
Classification Range: $61,896 - $152,760 Per Year
