Chief of Police Channel Islands
The Chief of Police provides executive leadership and overall direction for the CSU Channel Islands University Police Department and is responsible for protecting life and property, promoting a safe and secure campus environment, preventing and responding to crime and disorder, and supporting the safety and well-being of students, employees, visitors, and the broader campus community. The Chief is responsible for enforcing applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as California State University and CSUCI rules, regulations, and policies. The position oversees law enforcement operations, crime prevention, investigations, police communications and the 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point, records and CJIS compliance, property and evidence functions, Clery Act support, emergency management, business continuity, transportation and parking services, and related public safety programs. The Chief also serves as a visible campus leader responsible for professional standards, accreditation, community trust, equity and inclusion, and effective partnerships across CSUCI and with external public safety agencies.

Materials Processing Specialist Pomona
As part of the unit's responsibilities, CARDS oversees the proper stewardship of the Carleton F. Burke Memorial Collection, a major collection donated by the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association. This extensive collection contains contemporary and rare, irreplaceable materials related to equine history, thoroughbred horse racing, literature, breeding, racing records, and other equine-related research. In particular, the Acquisition and Materials (A&M) unit is responsible for the repair and processing of these materials that are structurally vulnerable due to age and historical wear to ensure they are physically stable enough for long-term use by the campus community and visiting researchers. The part-time Library Services Specialist III (LSSIII) staff member for the A&M unit to conduct the initial specialized stages of processing the Burke Collection. This support will allow permanent staff to complete the subsequent steps of the repair and processing workflow and have sufficient time to focus on ongoing unit priorities.
Lecturer - MUSC 311: Advanced Recording Techniques (Fall 2026) San Marcos
The Department of Music seeks a lecturer to teach Audio Recording Technology. The lecturer is responsible for teaching an advanced digital audio recording course with an emphasis on professional studio recording techniques, Pro Tools, microphones, signal flow, mixing, mastering, and digital audio production. The instructor will provide students with hands-on training in a professional recording studio environment while integrating lecture, demonstrations, and collaborative lab activities. This course is designed as a seminar/lab with applied learning at its core. The successful candidate will foster an engaging, industry-focused classroom that emphasizes attendance, participation, critical listening, technical proficiency, and creative problem-solving.
