Salary Range: $4,047 - $5,896/Monthly (Budgeted Hiring Salary Range $4,047-$4,128/Monthly)

 

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Non-exempt classification.

Essential Functions: Under the general direction of the Director and Associate Director of the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD), the Administrative Operations Coordinator (ASC) provides administrative, operational, and analytical coordination to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality services to students, faculty, staff, and the broader campus community. The ASC performs a wide range of administrative, fiscal, and data management duties requiring independent judgment, critical thinking, and thorough knowledge of university policies and procedures. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating daily office operations, maintaining confidential records, monitoring fiscal processes, and assisting with programmatic planning and assessment. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience: Three years of full-time office experience. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and experience with database systems. Must possess fundamental written and oral communication skills, including a sound foundation in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.  Good typing and keyboard skills. Demonstrated ability to independently coordinate complex administrative operations in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to: understand standard office procedures; operate standard office equipment; learn office technology systems; perform basic mathematical calculations; and maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive personnel and student information. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current CSU employees who may apply for the position.

Desired Qualifications: Experience in a higher education setting, particularly within student services, disability services, or administrative operations. Familiarity with CSU administrative and fiscal systems, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing accessibility, disability accommodations, and student privacy (e.g., ADA, Section 504, FERPA).
